Located in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Abbott Claim speaks to the original land claim steward. The Abbott Claim vineyard has a particularly interesting geography, perched atop the Savannah Ridge in Carlton, Oregon. Its 170-acre boundary supports an east-west rise of 200-400 feet, showcasing unique attributes.
As stewards of this land, the team has implemented organic and regenerative farming practices in the vineyard and its surrounding habitat since 2018. Abbott Claim is focused on treading lightly, allowing the ancient soils to inform all aspects of winegrowing and be expressed in the wines produced.
We are pleased to offer this trio of rare magnums from our inaugural Pinot Noir vintage. These bottlings bring to life the story of our estate vineyard, with a density and vibrancy characteristic of the site.
