"The bouquet is deep and complex, as it offers up a wonderfully exotic nose of café au lait, red berries, Gevrey meatiness, a fine base of minerality and a pungent top note of violet. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, very pure and focused, with silky, fine tannins, bright acids, and impressive length and grip on the tangy finish. It may age well for twenty or more years, but I strongly suspect that this will be mostly drunk up in its beautiful youth...92." JG 12/06.
