"This is going to be a great, great vintage for this wine, as it soars from the glass in an extremely pure mix of red plums, cherries, raspberries, cocoa, gamebirds, a marvelously complex base of soil, woodsmoke and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and utterly refined, with a rock solid core, great focus and grip, fine-grained tannins and a very, very long, elegant and tangy finish.
