The Red Letter Pinot Noir is only made once a decade to celebrate our founder, Jimi Brooks. The Brooks family winery began in 1998. Jimi tragically passed away just before harvest in 2004. For our tenth and twentieth anniversaries, we made a wine in Jimi's honor. Red Letter has pinot noir grapes from the three vineyards that Jimi farmed during his short five year career in the Willamette Valley: Brooks Estate, WillaKenzie and Momtazi. 400 cases produced in each vintage.
Either in person or virtually, we invite you to spend 90 minutes with Brooks winemaker, Chris Williams and Managing Director, Janie Brooks Heuck. We will explore six rieslings and pinot noirs of your choosing. We will share our story and how Brooks is using it's wine business to make the world a better place through being Certified biodynamic for our farming, a Member of 1% For The Planet, a Certified B Corporation and a Member of Ecologi.
