Winemaker/geologist Mike Hallock’s mission has always been to create the most compelling Estate Pinot Noir possible from Carabella’s dry-farmed vines each vintage. Established in 1996, our vines are rooted deep in rocky volcanic soils. Ten blocks of pinot noir are farmed with intent and fermented separately. A complex “Artist’s Cuvée” fills the limited edition etched 3 Liter bottle created by artist Cara Hallock, featuring fawn lilies indigenous to our location on Parrett Mountain. A horizontal selection from the elegant 2015 vintage completes the lot.
Included Experience:
The winning bidder (and five companions) will join winemaker/geologist Mike Hallock for a vineyard walk exploring our volcanic geology and sustainable viticulture. An al fresco library tasting and conversation under the locust grove follows. Please plan to visit before September 15, 2023.
