The Conscious Collection: A Virtual Fine Wine and Spirits Auction, sponsored by Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits and Wine Spectator – the largest circulated wine magazine in the world – will provide much needed financial assistance to small businesses in the hospitality industry across the United States. The fundraiser was kickstarted in early March with a generous $100,000 donation from The Wine Spectator Scholarship Foundation.
Presented and powered by Zachys and benefiting The Barstool Fund, this industry recovery auction will offer insider experiences with celebrity influencers, along with an impressive range of rare wines, high-end spirits, and luxury goods. The Conscious Collection is currently open for bidding and will culminate with a livestream auction on Friday, April 9th at 6:00 p.m. ET.
The auction will boast three extraordinary talents as its hosts – chef, restaurateur, best-selling author and Emmy Award-winning television personality Guy Fieri; Barstool Sports Founder and pop culture icon Dave Portnoy, who created The Barstool Fund as a way of helping small businesses impacted by COVID-19; and Antonio Galloni, Founder of Vinous, a digital wine publication. Jeff Zacharia will serve as the event’s head auctioneer.
