As things start to warm up in New York, it’s a delight to introduce the second sale of this two day auction. Day one is DRC Only, an auction we’ve been dreaming about for decades, and finally came to fruition. Day two, this sale, is an amazing multivendor sale featuring the “Transatlantic Collection,” a large offering that features wines from both sides of the Atlantic—France, and our shores here in the USA. We kick the sale off with pristine OWC Bordeaux, and lots of it, from both banks. Multiple cases lots of Ausone 2005, Latour 2003, and even Le Pin 2009 and 2005. It doesn’t take us long to get into the Burgundy, with 2005 Roumier Ruchottes, 2005 Bouchard La Romanee, and 2005 La Tache. 1985 Roumier Musigny? Wow. 1966 Romanee Conti? Double wow. Later, we’ve got rarities such as 1918 Mouton and 1870 Middle Temple embossed Lafite. There is exceptionally rare 1945 Mouton and 1964 Hermitage La Chapelle from an astonishing cellar in California. In short, this live streamed auction has a little bit of everything. It was a delight to curate it for you and we can’t wait to sell it too.
