The amount of Domaine Leroy and d’Auvenay in our May 14th auction is jaw-dropping. Over 130 lots (that’s more than 20% of the whole auction!) are available ranging from Bourgogne Rouge to the one and only Musigny. For white Burgundy collectors, we have a mini-vertical of d’Auvenay’s Chevalier-Montrachet going back to the 1990s.
DRC Large formats are becoming incredibly rare nowadays and we bring to you not one, but two large formats of DRCs from two incredible collections. From The Ruby Collection IX, we have a 6L La Tâche 1985 in original wood case (Lot 102). From an old friend of ours, we have a 3L bottle of Romanée-Conti 1993 that he purchased 25 years ago from a UK merchant (Lot 192). Claude Dugat, Coche Dury, George Roumier and Bizot are also widely available throughout the day. Other regions are also represented including over 30 lots of Jacques Selosse, ten vintages of Screaming Eagle and a vertical of Yquem ranging from 1927- 2001. If you want something extra special, check out the bottles of Bouchard La Romanée 1865 and 1912 (Lots 533 & 534) we have that are still in their original packaging.
Continuing with our tradition with spirits, we have a 3-bottle set of Karuizawa Honor Sumo Collection 1981-1983 (Lot 588) containing some of the finest sherry casks from the Karuizawa reserves. For something more traditional, we have two bottles of Macallan Fine and Rare, the 35 Year Old Single Malt 1966 (Lot 591) and the 30 Year Old Single Malt 1974 (Lot 592), both legendary drams that are highly sought-after. And of course, Join us online and watch the hammer falls on Saturday, May 14th at 11am HKT.
