Almost everything in this offering was bought on release. All of the wines were stored in two perfect cellars holding close to 12,000 bottles. As you peruse the wine you’ll notice a lack of assessment notes: these wines are pristine. If you missed the mailing list, now’s your chance to take home rare California cult wines.
This auction is also different for a few reasons: first, we’re opening the bidding with 60% reserves. Yes, you read that right.
Second, there is no print catalog, but this isn’t really an online sale either. It’s right in between. The sale will be live until May 28, at which point we’ll go live with an auctioneer for our first US “live streaming auction.”
And if you can’t find what you like in this section, this consignor is offering an eAuction portion of his cellar at the same time. Same storage, same provenance, same great wines, at all different price points!
