On the heels of the record-breaking Collection of Peter Hut, we’re back at it again just a few short weeks later with our December auction!
Our cornerstone consignment is wines from the one and only Fred Schrader. As many who follow our auctions go, Zachys has for years been the go-to auction house for Fred’s collection, and usually that means 100-point California Cabernet. But, this time, it’s not his eponymous wines, it’s a collection of rarest Burgundy, put together by none other than William Kelley—one of the finest palates in the world.
The collection here is represented by a who’s who of great producers: PYCM, Tremblay, Mugneret-Gibourg, Roty, Ramonet, Bachelet, the impossible-to-find Bernard Bonin, d’Auvenay, Leroy and more. There’s also a touch of Ygrec, Dal Forno Romano, Altare and Giacosa to round things out!
But this consignment isn’t the only in the sale...
There’s a six-liter 2000 La Tache originally from Rusty Staub’s collection. There’s 1928 Mouton, 100-point Bordeaux and Sauternes, cult California and a unique “Antinori Experience,” for those headed to Tuscany in 2024!
Please join us live-online on December 8!
