"Lafon's 2011 Volnay Santenots is one of the most reticent wines of the vintage. With time in the glass, the Santenots opens up a bit, showing its expressive aromatics and silky, layered fruit. There is a crystalline purity to the 2011 that is impossible to miss. Dark red and purplish fruit and floral notes add lift on the precise finish.
