THE WINE
The 5 Elements theory is a Chinese philosophy used to describe interactions and relationships between things. The five elements—wood, fire, earth, metal, and water—are believed to be the fundamental elements of everything in the universe between which interactions occur. This wine is an accumulation of how the elements came together and created phenomenal magic.
THE WINERY
Cooper Mountain Vineyards was founded in the Willamette Valley by Dr. Robert Gross and his wife Corrine in 1978. The vineyard was certified organic in 1995, and in 1999 it became the first certified biodynamic winery in the Pacific Northwest. Today, Cooper Mountain Vineyards continues to be run by the Gross family. With seven estate vineyards to work in the Willamette Valley, veteran Cooper Mountain Vineyards Winemaker Gilles de Domingo and his team create an array of balanced, spectacular wines.
