THE WINE
Our 2021 Big Teeth Pinot Noir is the product of fruit grown in our Wolf Hill Vineyard. Established in 1996, this 43-acre property in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA is known for producing wines with “big, bad wolf” vibes. The coastal influence and temperate climate combine with shallower volcanic soils to create powerful, finesse-driven wine. On the palate, this wine is an open book with clear comparisons to playful and richly layered details found in fables and fairytales. With a black fruit focus and solid structure, our beguiling Big Teeth Pinot Noir already has a flair for the dramatic and will only evolve over time—taking on the stuff of legends.
THE WINERY
Eola Hills Wine Cellars' Founder and Oregonian Tom Huggins, a former agricultural insurance specialist, launched our legacy with his first planting in 1982. Today, we remain locally owned and operated. Rooted in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA within the esteemed Willamette Valley, we own and manage more than 300 acres of sustainable, dry-farmed vineyards. Longtime Winemaker Steve Anderson crafts palate-friendly wines that reflect the mild, maritime climate combined with our region’s mineral-rich soils to perfectly capture the spirit and flavors of Oregon. With two tasting rooms offering the rustic cellar experience and scenic vineyard views respectively, visit us to experience our award-winning wines.
