THE WINE
This individual barrel was selected out of over 600 for this special auction lot. 1 yr-old French oak barrel adds just right level of complexity, structure, and balance to this wine. 2021 harvest was one for the ages: generously ripe yet brimming with acidity for which the Willamette Valley is known. Willakia vineyard is a 120-acre property that is a true gem amongst the forested Eola-Amity Hills AVA.

THE WINERY
Since its inception in 1969, Erath Winery has been instrumental in establishing Oregon as a world-class producer of Pinot Noir and is considered one of the pioneers of the industry. Today, Erath Winery remains committed to crafting exceptional wines that reflect region’s rich history. Winemaker Leah Adint is excited about the sense of community Oregon has. “They have such a strong relationship to the land, to each other, to sustainability, to finding the gentler way of growing grapes and making wine.""
