"I tasted the 100% Cabernet Sauvignon cuvee, without any Cabernet Franc added, for the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon. A saturated purple color was accompanied by glorious aromas of creosote, blackberry liqueur, and creme de cassis as well as the vintage's seamlessness, opulence, fruit, glycerin, and purity. This should make an outstanding cuvee... 90-92." WA, issue 142. "Packed with dense, rich flavors built around a core of spicy currant, blackberry, plum and chocolate, with touches of cedary oak, anise and nice earthy scents.
