In 1900, when Georges de Latour’s wife, Fernande, first laid eyes on the land that would become their original Rutherford vineyard, she exclaimed, “Quelle beau lieu!” (“What a beautiful place!”) Shortly thereafter, Georges sold his thriving cream of tartar business, bought the four-acre ranch, and founded Beaulieu Vineyard with the vision of making Napa Valley wines that would rival those of his native France. Georges and his wife expanded their land holdings over the next several decades, many of which are still part of the BV portfolio today. More than a century later, your opportunity to own a piece of the history of one of the longest continually operating wineries in the Napa Valley comes to fruition. Your Beaulieu Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Clone Selection vertical lot will include six bottles each of 2012 Clone 4 and 2012 Clone 6 Cabernet Sauvignon, and six bottles each of 2013 Clone 4 and 2013 Clone 6 Cabernet Sauvignon. For good measure, the Beaulieu team has included two large format bottles. You will also receive one 1.5-liter bottle each of 2007 Clone 4 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2010 Clone 6 Cabernet Sauvignon.

By bidding on this lot, you understand the wine will be fulfilled directly from the winery, and you are allowing Zachys to share your contact information with the Napa Valley Vintners and participating wineries.
