Experience the exceptional 2008 vintage with a horizontal of Apolloni's Single Vineyards and the Estate bottling, a Cuvée combining all four Vineyards. The vintage produced fresh, elegant, balanced Pinot noir with fully developed flavors from reduced yields and was harvested among the latest in the valley. Building wines with great aging potential. The Olivia, Fiorentina (formerly the Ruby Vineyard), Flaminia and Filippo Vineyards produce distinct and unique wines each year, and 2008 was no exception. These wines come together to create the Apolloni Estate Pinot Noir bottling, which is included in this lot as well. These bottles have been signed by Owner and Winemaker Alfredo Apolloni, and are presented in a set of wooden boxes.
When Alfredo and Laurine Apolloni moved to Oregon in 1999, they wanted to build an estate for their family to grow on as Alfredo did in his childhood in Italy. Alfredo’s heritage as a 7th generation Italian winemaker informs the winemaking and overall vision of Apolloni Vineyards. With 45 acres of LIVE Certified Sustainable vineyards containing Pinot noir, Chardonnay, Pinot blanc, Pinot gris and one of the state’s only plantings of Sangiovese and Nebbiolo, Apolloni Vineyards is a hidden gem of the Willamette Valley. Located in Forest Grove, Oregon in the newly recognized Tualatin Hills AVA, Apolloni Vineyards produces premium Oregon Wines with Italian influence.
