The Legacy Collection represents a lifetime of collecting, sharing, loving, and appreciating wine. The late consignor made an impression on all who were lucky enough to know him. His generosity of spirit, kind confidence, and sharp intelligence were qualities he brought to his passion for wine. Over the course of many decades his cellar grew to accommodate his diverse interests and many wine tasting groups that counted him as a valued member. He never bought to sell, and this is a quintessential drinking cellar. Many are small quantity lots from many vintages, all purchased with the intention to share. The vast majority were sourced from reputable West Coast retailers supplanted with a few auction purchases. His beloved wife, an accomplished designer, built not one, but two gorgeous custom home cellars with pristine temperature and humidity control.
