The United Sommeliers Foundation has partnered with Zachys for a second year for their annual charity auction. The United Sommeliers Foundation is a 501c(3) organization dedicated to providing emergency financial assistance to wine professionals due to circumstances beyond their control. The mission and vision of The United Sommeliers Foundation is to not only support our current community, but to help grow the viability of the future of the profession. The USF was founded at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic when hospitality workers were hardest hit with layoffs and terminations leading to great financial need. The USF has granted over $1.3 million to Sommeliers in the past four years for qualifying circumstances. The USF is steadfast in its mission and has evolved to help wine professionals with emergent financial need providing disaster relief, emergency medical payments, coverage of necessary expenses and more. Currently, the USF has awarded over $30,000 in grants for those affected by the Maui Wildfires and continues to award through their open grant program.

In order to pay tribute to this new vineyard for Maison Henriot, the family started to craft this multi-vintage Champagne made exclusively from the lands planted with Chardonnay.
