The first cellar is from an extremely prominent New York City restaurant, now closed. The wines in this collection were all bought on release via normal distribution channels. In this collection, every bottle less than $50, so lots 1-347, are being offered at NO RESERVE. So get those bids in early and often as we know the bidding will be furious. There’s everything from Riesling, to Tempier, to Conterno, to Hyde de Villaine, to many, many more.
The second consignment is direct from Europe, strip labeled and imported just for this auction. All of the wines in this collection were bought on release, including dozens and dozens of cases of Rivetti, Gaja, Ornellaia, Emidio Pepe, Penfolds and more.
