Why “The Deep?” Take a look at this offering. It’s a vast collection. Within each region, the collector not only focused on the best, but he bought in major quantities. Just the volume of Mouton and Screaming Eagle alone is jaw dropping. There are all the “Big 8” in case quantities, bought on release, from youthful vintages perfect for the cellar. The 100-point 2016 Mouton-Rothschild? 10 cases, and 3 magnums. Wow. 2009 La Mission Haut-Brion, also a 100-pointer? Again, five cases. It’s not just the Bordeaux, though. This offering is DEEP in DRC, DEEP in in Guigal, DEEP in Sassicaia, DEEP in Unico, DEEP in Futo and even DEEP in Asteroide, to the extent that’s even possible. You get the picture!

A note on provenance: the “vast” majority of wines in this offering are mailing-list-direct, or through close ties to the trade, right after release. The wines were stored in professional storage in California and in the consignor’s state-of-the-art home wine storage.
