July might not be a typical auction month for us at Zachys but this year, we have so many incredible wines that we are putting together one of the largest sales we have had in 2022! The sale is split into two days with Friday night featuring a few recognizable collections all from repeat consignors.
We start off the evening portion with Part 2 of A Captivating Collection of Pristine Blue Chip Bordeaux featuring 166 lots of top-class Bordeaux, all in original wood cases. We then move to Burgundy with two incredible collections of d’Auvenay, Raveneau and Coche-Dury, in both original packaging and taster-size lots, from Part 3 of The Cellar of an Exceptional Burgundy Collector and Part 2 of The Ardent Cellar. Wrapping up the evening would be a collection of spirits from the top-shelf, as is customary with our Hong Kong auctions.
Day 2 is dedicated to one of the best cellars we’ve seen in many years, The Dynasty Collection. This single owner offering is nothing short of amazing. More than 20 lots of Lafleur, 32 lots of Petrus, close to 90 lots of DRC (including a methuselah bottle of Romanée-Conti 1988), and over 70 lots of Comte Liger-Belair, you get the idea!
