When we started wine auctions we used to talk about “seasons” for auctions—the spring and fall. It seems we no longer have those. We had a hugely successful auction mid-July of this year, and we’re already talking about a January 2022 auction! This is all thanks to you and your love for fine wine. We love it too, and we love curating these sales for you. We’ve got no fewer than FOUR single-owner sales on the docket for this O/N/D, so stay tuned! This auction has, as usual, a little bit of everything. California is in strong supply, and one of our anchor consignments features case upon case of Harlan, in mags, too! There’s Opus One, Promontory, and many more. Francophiles fear not: there are dozens of OWCs of Bordeaux: ‘82s, ‘89s, ‘90s and more. There’s Jayer Echezeaux, Haut Brion Blanc from 1937 (!) and fine de Bourgogne from DRC as well as legendary vintages Unico (1970), Coche, and Gaja.
We’re so happy to be back auctioning wine again, and finally we’ve begun to see some of you out at restaurants and bidding parties. Let’s keep it going!
