3-Course dinner for 2 with wine pairings + cook book signed by James Beard Nominated Chef Mashama Bailey, and a 1-night stay at the Perry Lane Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Savannah. Bonded by a common viewpoint on what makes for delicious food, Johno Morisano and chef Mashama Bailey partnered to build The Grey in Historic Downtown Savannah. The restaurant occupies a 1938 Art Deco Greyhound bus terminal that was painstakingly restored to showcase its original luster, and has been recognized by Bon Appétit and Architectural Digest for its ability to preserve the architecture of the past while delivering a distinctively modern and bespoke experience. Bringing her personal take on Port City Southern food to a region of her youth allows Mashama to create dishes that are deep, layered, and soulful in flavor.
Our menus are structured around the seasonality of our region and like our region they are dynamic and will vary not only from evening to evening but, often, within the course of an evening’s service. Mashama and team are focused on utilizing fun, local ingredients and presenting them as a 3-course pre-fixed menu.
